Description
Run or Walk a timed 5k or 2k fun walk ‘round Arbor Lake on USATF certified 5k course with family & friends, at 12th Annual New Year's Day - Hopeul 5k presented by Charities Challenge. Start/Finish next to old Claddagh Irish Pub & Restaurant, in Maple Grove, MN, Friday, January 1; 10 AM start. Limited entries - Pre-register early! Complete 5k results by USATF divisions; race results submitted to MN Runner of the Year records. Post-race treats, hot and cold light beverages and more hospitality. Cheerful, warm and welcoming CC Race Event Worker (CCREW) volunteers, Motivating Music, optional colorful commemorative shirt, holidays costumes welcome, fabulous online post-event free-fun photos & convenient parking.

Claddagh Irish Pub & Restaurant
The Claddagh Irish Pub & Restaurant @ 7890 Main St N Maple Grove, MN 55369 continues to be the address that will get us to the race site's start/finish alongside Arbor Lake, just behind the Claddagh. Note that the Claddagh Restaurant was permanently closed following the continuing & recurring lockdowns for indoor dining in MN in 2020. We all wait to see what restauranteur may someday reopen this facility with hospitality to all.
