Break the Clock Swim Challenge 2023

Get ready to log your swim minutes to "Break the Clock" in this virtual challenge during the month of October. Minnesota Masters will be raising money for its Swim Foundation. Donations go towards supporting swimmers of all levels get in the pool and enjoy swimming. Add your minutes into the platform and participate in fun challenges along the way.  Gift Cards will be awarded for top 3 minutes logged overall. Every swimmer will get a 2023 sticker and cap in the mail as a reward for your hard work. Remember, it's not how fast you go, but how many minutes you are swimming!!

This year, we are raising money for our Minnesota Masters Swimming Foundation.  Any swimmer can participate! Part of the registration fee will go towards the foundation as well as all extra money raised through donations. Below are some examples of ways we can help the community:

Greatest of All Time (GOAT)  level - $2500
+ A great team fundraising goal. Can your team reach the GOAT level? Rise to the challenge.
+ Funds an entire ALTS class. Covers instructor costs, pool rental, materials, etc., for
multiple swimmers
+ Provide swim club dues assistance for multiple swimmers for an entire year.
+ Fund a beginner swimmer from an ALTS class, through multiple quarters of club swimming, USMS
Membership, and meet fees!
+ Help the Foundation realize its dream of financial sustainability.

World Record level - $1000
+ Funds a partial ALTS class. Covers instructor costs, pool rental, materials, etc.
+ Provide swim club dues assistance for a swimmer for an entire year.
+ Fund a beginner swimmer from an ALTS class, through multiple quarters of club swimming, USMS
Membership, and meet fees!
+ Help the Foundation realize its dream of financial sustainability.

National Record level - $500
+ Provide swim club dues assistance for two swimmers.
+ Help two Minnesota Masters swimmers get ALTS Certified.
+ Cover meet fees for as many as 10 swimmers.
+ Reimburse 11 swimmers for USMS Membership.
+ Maybe your lane could go in together, and reach for National Record level.

State Record level - $250
+ Reimburse a swimmers for a quarter of swim club dues.
+ Cover meet fees for up to 7-10 swimmers.
+ Reimburse 5 swimmers for USMS Membership.

Gold Medal level - $100
+ Reimburse USMS Membership for 1.5 new swimmers.
+ Cover meet fees for 2-3 swimmers (depending on the meet).
+ Get your whole lane together, and go for Gold Medal level!
+Help a novice swimmer get involved with a swim club and get involved with Minnesota Masters.

Silver Medal level- $50
+ Cover a swimmer’s USMS membership!
+ This donation could cover entry fees for two meets, or maybe the State Meet.
+ Get your whole lane together, and go for Silver Medal level!

Bronze Medal level- $25
+ Cover a portion of a swimmer’s USMS membership!
+ This donation could cover entry fees for a masters meet.
+ Get your whole lane together, and go for Bronze Medal level!

Friend level- $10
+ Become a part of this great effort!
+ Every donation helps the Foundation help our members.
+ Get your whole lane together, and go for the Silver Medal level!
