Course

Course Map

The Saturday events will be held on the grass and dirt trails in the north section of Wirth Park near the Trailhead. Sunday events will use the entire Wirth Park system and will follow mostly grass and dirt trails with minimal connecting asphalt trails and streets. The start and finish will be near the Trailhead. Note that the half marathon utilizes some of the hilliest terrain in the park. Be ready for a challenge (but you can do it!).

Course Markings

Our experienced course marking team uses a combination of blue ribbons, blue arrows, flour and other signage. However, runners are responsible for paying attention and staying on course.

Aid Stations

Aid stations will have water and energy to keep runners hydrated on the course.

Cut-off Times

Racers may choose to finish, but course marshals and volunteers will be released from their positions at the cutoff times.

Awards

Awards

Placement award information will be posted here when available.

Surly-est Runner Contest

Did you get bumped around or really roughed up on the trail? Let us be the judge. Go to the Surly tent to get your name on the contest list before start of the awards ceremony. The one we deem most scratched, scraped, and bruised will be crowned the Surly-est Runner, rewarded with a swag bag! You must be present to win. Anything goes! We take scrapes, blood, sprains, lacerations and breaks (though, really, we hope it doesn’t come to this). The worse off you are, the better your chances of winning. Cheating is unacceptable.
