Description
The Paynesville 400 is a chip timed 400 Meter Sprint up the former “Crystal Hills Ski” main ski hill. This race is modeled after the Red Bull 400 which races up ski jumping hills around the world. There will be a “Recreational Race” and “Extreme Race”. The “Recreational Race” has a more gradual 400 meter experience while the “Extreme Race” attacks the hill in a more direct route.
There will be a Men’s and Women’s Division - 39 & Under and 40 & Over with awards given out to the top three places in each division. The “Extreme Race” will have a preliminary run with the top 10 runners in each division running in a “Final Heat”. The “Recreation Race” will not have a final run as awards will be based on time of first run only.
Waves will be determined by gender.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the #30ForFreedomFoundation and the Paynesville Area Community.
