2021 - Running to a Sweet Beet | Walk in the Park Fundraiser (Draft)

Working Together for Cancer-Free Communities Renville, MN 56284 US
This Race is in Draft Mode

Description

Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative has made the difficult decision to cancel the 12th Annual Running to a Sweet Beet 5K Run/Walk due to company COVID-19 restrictions that strive to keep our workforce healthy.  Postponement is not a viable option given the timing of our harvest season.  Therefore, we will not reschedule our June 12 race.  The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, spectators, staff, and community members remains our top priority.

SMBSC is proud to sponsor an event that is supported by our generous community members.  We are extremely grateful for all of our past participants who have, over the past 11 years, raised $51,648 for the fight against cancer!  As such, it is imperative our local cancer patients are not impacted by our cancellation decisions due to COVID-19.

To assist in bridging the gap on what was previously donated, Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative asks for your partnership to continue supporting our local communities by 'registering’ for the 12th Annual Running to a Sweet Beet Your registration will be treated as a donation, as always, and will be included with SMBSC's donation and given to Renville County Walk in the Park.

Cancer attacks our moms, dads, sisters and brothers, the local farmer, doctor, grocery store clerk, teacher, and our children.  Simply click 'DONATE' to join us in working together for cancer-free communities!

Donations will be accepted through noon on the original race date of June 12, 2021.
