We postponed the Cookie 5k initially scheduled on May 30th to make space to react to what was happening in our neighborhoods after the murder of George Floyd on Memorial Day. The past weeks have brought renewed clarity to the many injustices people of color have faced for far too long.
Black lives matter.
As we navigate these times of change and reflection, we know that we can’t go 'back to normal'.
The Cookie 5K is no different. We are grateful for your support and want to honor the commitment you made to furthering our work. We are especially appreciative of that over the past weeks as we focused on connecting neighbors with resources needed after the destruction that closed many essential businesses. We invite you now to run with us not only in this 5k, but in a marathon to change failed systems, rebuild communities, and take meaningful and lasting action.
Additional race information can be found at https://www.donategoodstuff.org/2020-donate-good-stuff-cookie-5k.html.
To help keep you and our communities safe during the coronavirus pandemic, our 5K is a virtual race. You can run any route at your chosen start time and at your pace. Along the way, share your race photos and comments to help build the community experience.

Special Swag Donation
Since March, Donate Good Stuff has been tirelessly working to help respond to COVID-19.
Mask donations have been a big part of this. We expanded across the US and across medical
facilities and other organizations to connect people with donations to those who are on the front
lines and at risk. We have helped facilitate thousands of donations.
To continue our commitment to helping those in our communities most affected by COVID-19,
Instead of receiving yet another T-shirt, we will be donating the very special gift of a mask in your name to organizations in need.
Because making an impact in our community is in our DNA, we normally collect donation items for other local charity partners at the race. This year, COVID-19 changed everything. We ask you instead visit DonateGoodStuff.org to see how you can help right now.
