Jeff's Story
Jeff lived a life defined by connection, curiosity, and a deep love of nature. Wherever he went, conversations followed. He had a gift for drawing people in—asking thoughtful questions, sharing stories, and making others feel seen, heard, and valued.
In 2022, Jeff was diagnosed with Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma (EHE), a rare cancer. He met that challenge the same way he approached life—with calm strength, optimism, and an unwavering sense of humor.
Whether at work or at play, Jeff was always teaching. He shaped character, built confidence, and inspired a love of learning and human connection in those around him. To colleagues and the many people he mentored, Jeff was more than a guide—he was a steady presence who believed deeply in others and helped them see their own potential.
Jeff’s legacy continues in remarkable ways. Through the fluid and tumor donations he made, vital research into EHE moves forward—offering hope for better understanding, treatment, and ultimately a cure.
The Legacy Walk is held in Jeff’s honor to celebrate his life, preserve his memory, raise awareness of EHE, and support the ongoing search for answers. As we walk together on June 7, 2026, we carry forward the spirit Jeff shared so freely: unity, curiosity, kindness, and hope.
Jeff’s story reminds us that even in the face of adversity, a life lived with courage and love leaves a path others can follow. Today, we walk that path together—remembering him, honoring him, and continuing the fight against EHE.
