UMN Hoof N Woof 5k Fun Run

The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine is excited for another year of the Hoof N Woof 5k! The race will start at 9:30 am on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, right outside the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine building on Fitch Avenue on the St. Paul campus. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate, and leashed pets are more than welcome! We hope you'll hang around after to visit booths from our wonderful sponsors and local pet businesses. Be sure to stay for our award ceremony that will take place for the runners and their furry companions as well. Parking is available in the Gortner Avenue Parking Garage.

Registration for the race is $30, and includes a goodie bag and a free food ticket you can exchange for a bagel and coffee (limit 1 per person)! In addition, every participant will receive a FREE t-shirt! Packet pick-up will start at 8:15am on race day, Saturday, April 5th. There is no same day registration option. 

This year’s Hoof N Woof benefits Minnesota Association for Pets in Crisis, an organization supporting pet owners who are experiencing abuse. MAPC provides temporary housing and care to pets belonging to victims of domestic violence while their owners get back on their feet. Their goal is to ultimately reunite pets with their families.
