Truman Days 5K

Participants of any age can take part in this 5K run/walk. All registered participants will receive post-race refreshments, an opportunity to win a prize in the post-race drawing, and a t-shirt if t-shirt supplies allow. All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt in the size of their choosing at time of registration and swag bag. There will also be awards for top male and female finishers in each age group (0-10, 11-14, 15-19, and by decade after that). 

Pre-registration highly encouraged so we can guarantee your desired t-shirt size.  Pre-registration means registering on or before end of day June 29. Registration will however remain open through Friday July 25 6:00pm.  Race day registration is also available in person. 

Participants ages 10 and under are free- please register these participants by emailing Trumandays5K@gmail.com with name, age on race day, and desired t-shirt size. 

Logistics: The race begins on the west side of Truman Bus Service (332 S. 4th Ave E). Participants should park in the high school parking lot at 401 E 1st St. S in Truman to pick up race packet or register. Participants will then be bussed to the start line between 7:30 and 7:45.  The finish line is the high school parking lot.  

Packet pick up/race day registration starts at 7:00 am in the high school parking lot.

In the case of inclement weather making the race unsafe to facilitate, we will make every effort to postpone until later in the morning, but in the event that we have to cancel due to weather, no refunds will be given as the expenses will have already been incurred.
