Who We Are:
3seams is a Social Enterprise dedicated to fighting issues of poverty and human trafficking through JOB CREATION. By creating avenues of employment for at-risk individuals, and survivors of sex trafficking in both Cambodia and in Nepal, we are striving to stay on the front end of human trafficking. Our desire is to create not only a place of employment, but also a place of community. We want to provide a safe place where our artisans can come to support one another, be introduced to Jesus, and grow in their faith if they so choose! Our Goal:
Our goal through this year’s RUN3seams event is to raise $10,000. Your $25 registration fee goes directly towards our non-profit projects. Additionally, we have partnered with Venture Expeditions to create a personal fundraising page for individuals who would like to round up their family and friends to donate on behalf of their walk or run. Where the Money Goes:
Our goal is to raise $10,000!
2 months Rent/Utilities in Cambodia - $1000
6 Sewing Machines (at $150 each) - $900
5 Sergers (at $200 each) - $1000
6 months of Project Director Salary in Nepal - $1000
2 months of Project Director Salary in Cambodia - $1000
5 months of Asst. Project Director Salary in Cambodia - $1000
3 months Rent/Utilities in Nepal - $900
= All of this enables us to hire, educate, train, and empower more individuals who are in desperate circumstances.
The Run:
Date: Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 9:30 AM
Location: West Park (across from Memorial Beach), 2350 11th St White Bear Lake, MN US 55110
Registration fee: $25 (all proceeds go to our non-profit)
NEW: Construction Notice! Due to road construction on some of the streets leading to West Park, please take 7th Street to Johnson. Park on 7th or Johnson and either take the lake path to West Park or hang a left on Johnson and access the park at 10th and Johnson.
Course: We will circle around West Park and follow the lakeside path up to Hwy 61 and back.
"But, I'm Not a Runner!"
No worries! Walk, run, rollerblade, push the stroller, bring the dog, etc. Feet, paws and wheels welcome!
