Stepping Up For Our Community 3 mile Virtual Run/Walk

Put your daily exercise walk or run to good use!  Time a 3-mile run or walk and help the Suburban Ramsey Emergency Coalition support neighbors in need.The Suburban Ramsey Emergency Coalition was formed to assist our neighbors who are suffering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The coalition includes representatives of all four major international Service Clubs (Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis and Optimists), the Roseville Area Community Foundation and the Shoreview Community Foundation.  See coalition website at  https://www.suburbanramseycoalition.org for more information.

The coalition has selected food insecurity and crisis housing instability as the initial priority.

Register for the Stepping Up For Our Community Run/Walk and receive a printable race bib you can wear while you participate.  Complete your favorite 3-mile distance any time/anywhere between August 3 and August 9, 2020 and enter your run or walk time on the Event website.  You will receive a completion certificate that could be used for a make-your-own Finisher’s T-shirt logo.  An example of a supplier is https://www.amazon.com/Jolees-Boutique-Image-Transfer-Fabrics/dp/B008BTPQYM

The individual registration fee is $20.00 + 2.50  processing.  Family registration fee is $40.00 +processing.  Processing fee includes credit card use and promoter expense.  Donations are welcome and can be made through the event website at the time of registration.

The three fastest times in each 5-year male/female age group will receive a downloadable certificate (suitable for framing!).

We are keeping expenses to a bare minimum so all proceeds can go to those in need. Those wishing to collect donations from socially distant friends or family can also report donations on the coalition website.
