Run for Sight

9th Annual Ava Lions Club Walk/Run for Sight

If there is rain, we will try to delay the event if practical, but the race will be run rain or shine.

EVENT: 1M 5K FEE: $15

Location: Trinity Lutheran Church of Ava, MO. (Go to their Facebook page for a map of the location.)

Participants will not have to cross any highways.

Participants will stay on city streets in the north of town.

Shirts are “Tech” style and are included with the registration fee. Registration must be received by June 2nd

to receive a shirt. Walk in registrations the day of the event are still $15.00, but will not receive a shirt.

 START/FINISH: Trinity Lutheran Church 1/2 mile North of Ava on Trinity Lane, which is left from the start of

Emerson Climate Technologies Road off Highway 5.

The church will open its facilities to get in out of the weather and allow us to use their bathroom facilities.

The foyer will also be utilized for the trophy presentation.

There will be special prizes awarded to the Top male and female overall finishers! Children 6 years old or

younger participate free, and will be awarded a special participation medal, but must stay with their paid participant at all times.
