Description

Diabetes Dash CoMo is a diabetes awareness 5K run/walk event for the entire family to learn more about prediabetes and what you can do to reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes. Everyone in attendance (whether walking/running or not) will have an opportunity to have their hemaglobin A1C checked, have blood pressure measured, enjoy healthy snacks, and receive information from local vendors to support healthy living.  You can even participated in yoga after completing the race.

Everyone who registers by October 26th, will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and a token to use at the Columbia Farmer's Market.  

All funds raised from this event will go towards costs associated with the Prevent T2 lifestyle change program that Defense Against Diabetes offers.

Volunteers:
