First Chance for Children 5K Walk/Run Diaper Dash

Welcome to our FC4C Diaper Dash!  
Our Diaper Dash is a community-wide event to benefit First Chance for Children and the Baby Bags Program on Saturday, September 24, 2022.  We are kicking off Diaper Need Awareness week and are promoting the critical need for diapers in our community! Runners, walkers and strollers will gather at Albert-Oakland Park in Columbia, MO.  This is a family friendly event, and fun for people of all ages! Grab your family, neighbors and colleagues and sign up today!  When the air horn blasts at 8:30 a.m., some will race along the path at the park that includes chip timing and prizes for the winners. Some will stroll more casually than others and that is okay! Be sure to follow our event on Facebook and or updates!

Early Registration ends September 5, 2022 at 11:59pm (CT)

Children age 7 to 17 receive $10 discount!
5K Registration:
Early Registration - $25 
Late Registration - $35

Disclaimers: 5K Participants must finish in 1 hour and half or less. T-shirts are not guaranteed for late or day of registration. Registration is Non-Refundable: This is event is subject to change to a virtual event.

Proceeds from the race will go to supporting First Chance for Children's mission to provide early childhood programs and family resources to foster healthy outcomes for children and families in mid-Missouri. We strongly suggest providing a donation of diapers or wipes in the day of the race to support our Baby Bags Diaper Bank. A donation of diapers is not a requirement to participate but greatly appreciated.  

Packet Pick Up

Packet Pick Up will be at First Chance for Children at 1002 Fay Street Friday, September 23, 2002 between 9 am and 4 pm.  You can also pick up your packet the morning of the race between 7 AM and 8 AM. You can register for the race at packet pick up but a shirt is not guaranteed.

9:30— 5K Awards! 

HAVE MORE FUN WITH A TEAM of your best friends or co-workers! You might even want to get artistic and come in costume!  

AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH! 

We will have a separate Pop UP and RUN for our kiddos 6 and under! Activities will include a diaper dash for kids, an obstacle course, streamers, balance beams, a baby crawling 5K and Tie Dying!  There is no charge for this event.  Just pure, plain fun!  We will have  t shirts and onesies available for purchase!
