Description
Join Cottleville Weldon Spring Chamber of Commerce and Stay Cool Climate Control for the inaugural Taco the Town 5k! Our racecourse will take you through beautiful Legacy Park and wrap up with a post-race fiesta. Raceday festivities begin at 8 a.m., and runners will hit the trail at 9 a.m.
Taco-bout a great deal – runners receive all of the following with their paid registration:
Custom Finisher Medal
Race t-shirt
Socks featuring Freo – the Stay Cool taco guy
Two tacos at post-party
One margarita or beer at post-party (for runners age 21+)
Additional food & beverages are available for purchase by runners and spectators.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be available from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 - additional details coming soon!
Race Day Parking
There is a variety of public parking available for Taco The Town!
- Legacy Park (parking lot)
- Cottleville City Hall (parking lot)
- 5th Street (marked on-street public parking)
- Main Street (marked on-street public parking)
- Highway N (marked on-street public parking
*Please note that the Legacy Park parking lot near the volleyball courts & dog park will be unavailable, as this will be used for runner lineup, sponsor area, and post-race party. Lanes to access the large parking lot at the back of the park will be marked.
Awards
Listen for announcements at our post-race fiesta! We'll announce winners as soon as the majority of participants have finished. We'll award first, second, and third place medals for women and men in the following age categories:
- 0 - 19
- 20 - 29
- 30 - 39
- 40 - 49
- 50 - 59
- 60+
