Higginsville Heat and Hunger 5k Walk/Run

The Heat and Hunger 5k Walk/Run isn't just something fun to do with family and friends, it helps support our community!  The Heat and Hunger Fund provides financial assistance to families who need help with a utility bill.  The Heat and Hunger Fund serves the families living in the Lafayette County, Missouri, C-1 School District.  All race proceeds go directly to the Heat and Hunger Fund.

The race includes a 5k for all ages, and a Fun Run for children 10 and younger.  The race will start and end in at Grandview Elementary in Higginsville, Missouri.

Race Awards:  
Medals to top three winning runners in Male and Female categories.  Age Divisions:  21 and under, 22-55, and 56 and older.  
Medals to top three walkers (must walk entire course).  
Prize for oldest and youngest runner.  
Each child who participates in the Fun Run will receive a goodie bag.

Schedule of Events:  
7:00 - 7:30 am - Pre-Registration 
7:40 am - Kids Fun Run
8:00 am - Heat and Hunger 5k Walk/Run
