About the KC Temple Run
Established in 2011, the KC Temple Run is an annual 5K run made successful by its more than 900 participants each year. Truck loads of food, and thousands of hygiene and cleaning items have been donated by KC Temple Run attendees to various local charitable organizations including Hillcrest Hope (2016) and Valor Ranch (2019). This year, the KC Temple Run is partnering for our second time with In As Much ministries, a volunteer managed food pantry that exists to connect donors with opportunities to provide products and services to low income and homeless persons in the Liberty and Clay County area.
Members of the community look forward to this free event each spring. Running clubs, families of all ages, or simply those wanting to make a healthy choice and support a local charity find the KC Temple run to be a wonderful experience.
The Kansas City Temple Run is fun for the whole family! Whether you push a stroller, have your children run in the Kids' Race or they join you in the 5K, the Temple Run has always been a family affair.
