Pop Up Group Run along the Run the Town Civic Trail

Join us for a pop up group run along the Run the Town Civic Trail in Downtown Kansas City on September 7 at 6pm. This run is in support of the Broadway Bridge Run on September 24 and is hosted by the new City Gym downtown.

Run the Town (www.runthetown.org) is an art installation by Sarah Star that leads runners and walkers through a four mile course marked by turn-by-turn signs along the route featuring colorful illustrations that playfully blend the area’s rich history with its exciting present. Participants will be cued to explore the public art and architecture that exists in the area, as well as invoke interest in the expansive history of the Town.

We are going to start and finish at the new City Gym downtown (http://www.citygymkc.com/locations/downtown), where you can change into your running apparel and where snacks and beverages will be provided after the run. There will be a raffle drawing for prizes after the run also, including prizes from City Gym, the Broadway Bridge Run and KC Running Company!
