Scarecrow Run 5K

The 31st Annual Scarecrow 5K and 1-mile Fun Walk will take place Oct. 4 in Gladstone. The race, organized by the Gladstone Parks & Recreation, is on the final day of Gladfest.

The event starts at 7:30 a.m. All proceeds will be donated to the Northland Christmas Store, which aids families in need around the holidays. Participants registered before Sept. 25 will receive a T-shirt.

Early registration is encouraged, but registrants can also sign up on race day. There are family rates available just $15 per person after the initial registration.

The start and finish for the races will be Gladstone’s Linden Square, located at 602 NE 70th St.
