All finishers of a 5k and kids run will receive a finisher medal.

The top 3 male and female finishers will receive an award in the following age groups:
14 and under, 15-19 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+
Top overall male and female will receive an award
Top overall master male and female will receive an award
Race Partner
A portion of the proceeds from the South KC 5K will benefit Community Assistance Council. CAC is a community assistance organization that empowers individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency through the delivery of direct emergency assistance, education and advocacy.
They offer several direct assistance programs to families in need residing in the south Kansas City area including:
Clothes Closet - Good clean, second-hand clothing, coats and school uniform pieces are offered when available
Food Pantry - One week's worth of groceries on an as-needed basis (no more than every 4 weeks)
Utility/Housing Assistance - Arrange payments with landlords/mortgage/utility companies on an emergency basis
Home Delivered Meals - A hot noonday meal delivered five days a week, in partnership with the Mid-America Regional Council. This meal helps meet daily nutritional requirements, provides a well-being check for homebound neighbors.
Medical/Dental/Optical Assistance - Partnership with the Kansas City's Medicine Cabinet offers emergency assistance for medical needs once a year.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup is Friday, November 4 from 2-6pm at Premier Mazda at 13900 Washington Kansas City, Missouri. You can register in person at packet pickup. You can also register in person or pick up your packet on race morning from 7-8am.
