KC Metro Mile Championship

Join us for a fun night on the track at the 2024 Kansas City Metro Mile Championships presented by KC Running Company, Mizuno and B and B Race KC.  The KC Metro Mile Championships will pit top talent from the area against each other in one of the best competitions of the year!  

The Kids Mile and Middle School open mile are non-qualifier events and open to everyone in those age groups.  The qualifier events have a limited number of entries available, this year we will separate out all entries in the qualifier events to create the best races possible, no race will have more than 20 entries.  Our goal is to have multiple divisions for High School Athletes. Entrants must submit a recent time during registration in order to qualify for those races.  All times submitted will be verified.  

For the Elite Male and Elite Female miles, the top 20 submitted times will be eligible to compete.

2024 Schedule (this is tentative, adjustments will be made once we know exactly how many races we will be holding)

6:00PM - Kids Mile (K-5th Grade)

6:20PM - Middle School Open Mile Boys & Girls (6th - 8th Grade)

6:45PM - Middle School Girls Elite Mile - (Under 7:00 to Qualify)

7:00PM - Middle School Boys Elite Mile - (Under 5:45 to Qualify)

7:15PM - Women's Open Mile - (Under 7:00 to Qualify)

7:30PM - Men's Open MIle - (Under 6:00 to Qualify)

7:40PM - Women's Masters 35+ Mile - (Under 8:00 to Qualify)

7:55PM - Men's Masters Mile 35+ - (Under 6:30 to Qualify)

8:10PM - High School Girls Elite Mile - (Under 6:15 to Qualify)

8:30PM - High School Boys Elite Mile - (Under 5:10 to Qualify)

8:50PM - Elite Women's Mile (Under 5:30 to Qualify)

9:00PM - Elite Men's Mile (Under 4:30 to Qualify)
