Description

EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2023

Sadly, we've had to cancel the 5k for 2023. We are hoping to bring it back together next year! Please be on the lookout for updates.

Do you want to show your support for our Veterans/Active Duty and our Military Families? Well this run is the right fit for you! We would LOVE for you to come out and support this amazing local Veterans Museum in O'Fallon that could use your support.

This fundraiser is to reach as many veterans as possible - a larger geography - and invite every veteran and active duty including their families to share and preserve the veteran/active duty stories in the museum. By sharing their stories, we know it helps in the healing process. We are excited about the opportunity to serve our veterans throughout the Midwest.

The Mid American Veterans Museum (St. Charles County Veterans Museum) is looking to expand services and exhibits at the museum. There are also plans underway to build a new museum at 1019 Bryan Road in O’Fallon. The Museum is also in the middle of a name change from St. Charles County to the Mid America Veterans Museum.

This race is a fundraiser to help our local Veterans. If you have a Veteran or Active Duty please know the museum is a safe place for them - to talk - to be heard - and to know someone cares. When you say the Veterans name they are never forgotten.

Packet Pick Up

Packet Pick Up will occur before the event at the Veterans Museum on Wednesday, October 25th, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm.

Course Map

Here is our route! We will be starting and finishing on Elm Street in front of the museum. After turning right onto Sonderen Street, we will cross the train tracks. We will then take a small loop through Westoff Park, run past both Josesph L. Mudd and Forest Park Elementary Schools, and do a larger loop through the neighborhood before making our way back to the museum via Eastbrook Lane and St. Matthew Avenue.
