Colors Against Cancer 5K Walk/Run

The 2nd Annual Colors Against Cancer 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, September 7th in Osceola, MO.

Schedule: Registration 7:15 to 7:45 a.m. | 5K at 8 a.m. | Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. | Awards at 9:00 a.m. **BIB TIMED EVENT**

Entry fees: 5K - $20 for ages 18 and up, FREE for kids 17 and under.  **MUST be registered by August 23rd to be guaranteed a t-shirt.**

FAMILY/GROUP DISCOUNT
$60 for Groups with 4 members
$75 for Groups with 5-6 members
$100 for Groups with 7-8 members
*EACH participant MUST have his/her own entry form.

Awards: Medals awarded to the top 5 Male & Female participants, and with a medal for One mile participant.  

Course: Mix of pavement and gravel for the 5K and Fun Run. Stroller Friendly. 

Amenities: Custom-designed t-shirts guaranteed for all pre-registrants. Water for 5K/Fun Run participants at the finish line, with light snack items.  

History of the event: Colors Against Cancer began in 2017 by Evans Drugs-Osceola and the Osceola Optimist Club as a fundraiser to help children and their families fight childhood cancer.  The first year of the race, the proceeds benefited St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.  During 2017-2018 the race directors became aware of a sweet little girl named Aislyn with ties to our community who is currently battling cancer and consistently wears an infectious smile.  The proceeds from last year's event went to Aislyn and her family as well as children in St. Jude's Research Hospital.  This year, proceeds will go to St. Jude's, with donations available to local children battling cancer if the needs arise.  Thank you for partnering with us to fight childhood cancer!
