Cookie 5k

Cookie 5k updated!!!  I just wanted to give you an update about our run. I wanted to let you all know Park University is fine and our run is still on!!  We will have a packet pick up on Friday March 29th from 5 PM-7 PM at Meadowbrook\Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 2800 NE 64th St, Gladstone, MO 64119.  Second pick up will be Saturday morning from 8:30 AM-10:30 AM at the same church. You will also have the opportunity to pick up the morning of the race starting at 7 AM.  Our 5k will start at 8 AM with our 1 mile starting approximately at 8:15.  Can’t wait to see everyone next Sunday and let’s cross our fingers for nice weather!!

Girl Scout troops of NE Kansas and NW Missouri are excited to host a 5k run\1 mile run\walk event at the beautiful Park University Parkville campus! Each registered runner will receive a race day t-shirt, a finishers medal, a timed race bib and a choice of a box of Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Carmel Delights (Samoas) or S'mores Girl Scout cookies!!!  Early bird registration is $30 up until January 13, 2019 at 11:59PM.  Prices go up to $35.00 and registration closes on March 3, 2019.  If you do not register before March 3rd, you will not be guaranteed a shirt, medal or a box of cookies so please don't wait!!!

Proceeds will go to our Girl Scout troops to help the girls to learn in a safe and friendly environment to be Go-Getters, Innovators, Risk-takers and Leaders by exploring STEM and outdoors activities, participating in community projects, learning life skills and entrepreneurship!! Part of the proceeds will also go back to the organization Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri.
