Iron Horse Festival

The Iron Horse Festival is an annual event held in downtown Poplar Bluff, Missouri. There are a number of family friendly activities and the kids 1 mile run, 5k and 10k race are just a few of those activities. Shirts will be guaranteed to all registrants registered prior to September 15th. Age group awards will be provided to those participants who finish in the top three age group categories listed. The age group categories are:
1 Mile Kids Run - 6 & under, 7-9, 10-12
5K and 10k Run - 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ (If age group has 10+ pre-registered entrants we will split into 5yr age-groupings)
5K Walk - 39 & under, 40+

Event details and schedule

Event Weather Policy
With any outdoor event, weather may be a factor on whether or not the race will take place. Race personnel may have to cancel or delay the event in case of extreme weather or other conditions that may affect the health and safety of the participants and spectators. In the event of a cancellation, refunds will not be issued.
