Description
The Kirkwood Firefighters Community Outreach is happy to hold the first annual Kirkwood Fire-Police Fun Run 5K. This run is a one-day Halloween themed event. It starts in the morning at 7:45 AM beginning at Kirkwood Firehouse House 3, located at 1321 W Essex Road, Kirkwood MO, 63122, with a timed 5k run as well as an untimed 1 mile loop Fun Run. Bring your family, dress in costumes, and run some of the beautiful streets of Kirkwood during the peak of fall! As this is our first year for this event, we will not have awards. However, there will be plenty of candy will be at the finish line waiting for you!
Packet Pick Up Info
Packet pick up will be conducted at Kirkwood Firehouse 3 (address above). You can pick up your packet on October 21st, anytime between 10:00am - 6:00pm at the firehouse. If you can't make it before race day, you can pick up your packet on race morning beginning at 6:00am.
Volunteers
We are in search of volunteers! If you'd like to volunteer for this race, please click on "volunteer" on the side bar on the left and choose which task you'd like to do. We greatly appreciate any and all help!
Race Route
The 5K and 1 Mile will start together on Essex at the Firehouse, and both do the loop at the beginning of the race. Once you get back down to Essex, the 1 Mile will take a RIGHT back toward the finish, while the 5K will take a LEFT and complete the rest of the out-and-back course. The 5K will continue straight toward the finish the whole way back on Essex.
