Midtown Virtual Peace Parade & Walk-a-thon

For the past 31 years, Midtown's Summer Academy Day Camp Peace Parade has brought campers, supporters and community members together to march for peace in St. Louis. While our in-person Parade had to be put on hold due to COVID-19, we are planning a virtual event on July 29 featuring a special performance by our campers.

You can join our campers' mission by participating in our Virtual Peace Parade & Walk-a-thon this year in a variety of ways:

1. Anytime between June 29-July 27, take a walk in our campers' honor (signs are a plus!). Snap a photo or take a video on your walk, and let our kids know how they inspire you and your hopes for their future. Send your photo/video and message to admin@midtowncs.org or text to 314-402-4375 by July 27, and we'll share it with our campers.
2. Join Midtown's Walk-a-thon to help fund our Youth Development programs and create a brighter future for St. Louis! Set a fundraising goal, and ask your friends to donate to your cause! Entry includes a free t-shirt, and prizes will be awarded based on your fundraising efforts.Plus, you can will prizes just for walking - track how many miles you walk between June 29-July 27, and send to admin@midtowncs.org. Prizes will be given to those who hit the most miles during the Walk-a-thon.
3. Tune into Zoom or Facebook on July 29 for our closing ceremony featuring Midtown and Erace the Hate. Details to come.
