This event is a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to safeguarding our freedom, and a celebration of their unwavering commitment to our nation.
Lace up your running shoes and be a part of this inspiring event that honors our veterans. As you navigate the scenic course, you'll traverse tree-lined paths and tranquil stretches, all while surrounded by the rich history of Jefferson Barracks Park. This park, which has stood witness to countless stories of courage and sacrifice, provides a fitting environment to commemorate those who have served and continue to serve.
The Veteran Appreciation Run is more than just a standard 5k; it's a demonstration of unity and respect for our servicemen and women. Runners of all levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes, are encouraged to participate, as this event is about coming together as a community to express our gratitude.
As you cross the finish line, know that your effort supports meaningful causes dedicated to veterans' well-being. 100% of the donations will be given to our charity partner, the St Louis Blues Warrior Hockey Organization.

Awards
-Awards will be given to top 3 overall male and female
-Special medals for age group record holders
-Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female in each of the following age groups:
10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Referral Program
After you register for the race, you will receive a personal referral code in your confirmation email. Start referring everyone you know, your family, friends, the neighbor down the street that you talked to that one time, invite everyone! All referrals will be automatically tracked so there is no extra work on your end.
St Louis Blues Warrior Hockey
The St. Louis Blues Warriors Hockey Program is a remarkable initiative that embodies the spirit of camaraderie and healing through the power of hockey. This program, specifically designed for disabled veterans, offers them an opportunity to engage in the sport they love while fostering a supportive community and aiding in their physical and emotional recovery. Through specialized adaptive equipment, coaching, and a welcoming environment, the St. Louis Blues Warriors Hockey Program empowers participants to overcome challenges, build friendships, and find renewed purpose on and off the ice. This program not only celebrates the resilience of these individuals but also pays tribute to their dedication and sacrifice in service to their country and community.
