Winterfest 5K

Kick off the holiday season in true St. Louis style at the Winterfest 5K, returning for its sixth year at Gateway Arch National Park. The Winterfest 5K is the only official run/walk that goes through and supports Gateway Arch National Park's official nonprofit conservancy, giving you a chance to experience the Arch grounds like never before. While you run or walk, you'll take in stunning views of Downtown St. Louis, the Old Courthouse, and the iconic Gateway Arch. Directly after the race, our seven-week long Winterfest celebration will kick off in Kiener Plaza with ice skating, s'mores stations, heated igloos, and so much more. 

All ages and experience levels are welcome at the 5K. For those who prefer a lighter pace, a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk that loops around the Gateway Arch is also available. Participants will receive a commemorative medal and t-shirt, and winners will receive additional special prizes.

Gateway Arch Park Foundation is the official philanthropic partner and conservancy for Gateway Arch National Park, supporting conservation, preservation, education and community programs at and around the park. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to ensure the Gateway Arch, its grounds, neighboring public spaces, and attractions will be a vital, welcoming, and well-supported resource for the community and nation for generations to come.
