Be A Hero 5K Run

Every Individual has what it takes to be a hero! The “Be A Hero Run” originated because of one boy’s vision—a boy who saw that being a Hero was not about capes and powers but about living for others on a daily basis. The A Hero's Impact Foundation is based upon building the dream of mentoring children from all walks of life in the Greater St. Louis area. The Be A Hero 5K Run will benefit the A Hero's Impact Foundation and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Be A Hero 5K Run is a timed race that will be a great addition to any avid runners summer list, complete with fun activities and incredible prizes for the entire family.

This will be a night run so wear your brightest colors!

This Charity Run will benefit A Hero’s Impact Foundation & St. Louis Children’s Hospital
A Hero’s Impact Foundation is a Metro –East Charity supporting the needs of at-risk youth and is in the planning stages of building a mentoring center in the greater St. Louis area.
 ·      Early Registration is $30, if received by September 30th;  $35 on race day
 ·      Register by mail:  “Be A Hero Run”, 97 Oaklawn Glen Carbon, IL 62034
 ·      On site Registration begins at 6:00 PM on race day
·      The race will begin at 7:15 PM

Awards
·      Trophies & Prizes to the top three overall men & women.
 ·      Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female in age groups:
 10 and under / 11-14 / 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60 and over.
 ·      Times will be overseen by Toolen’s Running Start
·      Runners bags will include a race shirt, water ticket, food ticket, glow bracelet, & more!
·      Runner’s VIP Food table pass is included with registration. Food venders will also be on site with snacks available for purchase.

·      If you would like to donate to this cause without participating in the race, fill out the information below, along with your monetary donation, and mail to A Hero’s Impact Foundation at 97 Oaklawn, Glen Carbon, IL 62034.
·      Be A Hero Run is not only a family-oriented race, but also an event geared for serious runners. 
·      There will be four Bounce Houses in the park for children.  A $5 wrist band can be purchased for all the jumping you can handle!  There will also be a face painting booth, $5 per face.
