$5 5k for The Sister Trinita Community Clinic

The next $5 5K is set for Thursday, August 7 at 6 pm! August’s beneficiary is the Sister Trinita Community Clinic. In partnership with Stewpot Community Services, St. Dominic’s operates a community health clinic providing primary care to low-income families and homeless individuals. It is staffed by a consultative family practice physician, a full-time family nurse practitioner, a medical assistant, counselor, security and volunteer nurses and physicians. Services are provided free of charge. Patients are welcomed with no appointment necessary. In addition, the clinic provides a variety of educational programs for children, adolescents and adults in efforts to promote disease prevention and safety.

For those of you new to the event, grab $5 and your friends and come walk or run a no pressure 5K (3.1 miles)! ALL PROCEEDS will go straight to Sister Trinita Community Clinic!  If you don’t want to do the whole 5K, you can turn around and head back at any point. You can even just come for support and don’t have to walk a step!
