Description
Columbia Strong 5k/10k run for Breast Cancer Awareness. Participants are encouraged to show support by wearing pink (optional). This run is in colaboration with the Heritage Festival and the Marion County Developement Partnership. There will be lots of door prizes, t-shirts guaranteed for pre-registrants who register by September 19th, ten year age increments and awards for top three in each age category.
All proceeds will benefit breast cancer awareness.
The annual Heritage Festival is held in Columbia's beautiful City Park, under majestic oaks and pines. Festival includes arts/crafts vendors, food vendors, entertainment and special performances large playground area for children. It celebrates the history and heritage of Marion County and Mississippi. Event at 8 a.m. Vendor booths open at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year marks our 50th year! marioncountyhistoricalsociety.com
Registration is $25 through 9/19, $28 through 10/2, $30 day of race. Registration is at 6:45 a.m.
