Made in the Shade

Please join the Rotary of Flowood for Made in the Shade 5K Run/Walk

One hundred percent of all proceeds go toward the Rotary of Flowood’s ongoing service projects, which include dictionaries for Rankin-area lower elementary students, food drives for the PineLake Church Care Center, and meals for and interaction with The Seedsters at The Mustard Seed. A donation of $1,000 from this race will go toward programs at the YMCA of Flowood.

IMPORTANT: The City of Flowood has alerted us the week of June 10 that the nature park inside Winners Circle Park will be closed at the time of this year’s Made in the Shade for resurfacing of the paved trail. The race is definitely on, and the race course will be a simple down and back along the paved multipurpose trail. There will be somewhat less shade this year, but beautiful scenery along the additional mile you’ll run or walk on the multipurpose trail to compensate for the lost mile in the nature park. We sincerely appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you.

IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 5:30 P.M., THURSDAY, JULY 11TH, YOUR BIB WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL RACE DAY MORNING.
