CrossFit The Rock

Southern Miss Athletics is partnering with Fourth Street CrossFit for a unique CrossFit inspired Race event inside M.M. Roberts, or The Rock, on Saturday, October 28th at 8 a.m. Participants will be started in heats and proceed through various CrossFit stations on the course. Participants will receive a dri-fit event t-shirt as well as a ticket to the Southern Miss vs. UAB game that night at 6 p.m.

Additional game tickets for family and friends can be purchased at a group rate by calling 1-800-844-TICK and asking for the CrossFit family/friends special.

The event is open to anyone, whether you’re a CrossFit regular or it’s your first time. Take part in this exciting event on the field of the Rock.  Spectators will be allowed to watch the event from the sidelines.

The workout will consist of the following bodyweight movements in a sprint type workout:
- Air Squats
- Burpees
- Running
- Push-ups
- Lunges
- Bear Crawl
- Medicine Ball Cleans
- Sit-ups
- Optional "tester" stations to see where you stack up against others.

The registration deadline to receive a shirt on the day of the event is Monday, October 23rd. Registrations after that date and on the day of the event will receive a shirt within a month after the event. 

Participants and spectators are encouraged to park along Championship Lane in front of the Trent Lott Center. To park in that lot from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. people need to have this parking pass displayed. The lot is designated on this map in red. If they don't have the parking pass they will be encouraged to park in the lots designated in green.
