Hub City Derby Dames' 5K Run/Walk
On May 23rd 2015 the Hub City Derby Dames, Hattiesburg's first and only Women's Flat Track Roller Derby League, will be hosting a 5K run/walk on the Longleaf Trace in Hattiesburg, MS to benefit our league. As a "not-for-profit" league, we raise all our funds through charitable sponsors, donations, & fundraisers to be able to afford to play this sport. Beyond our "tough personas", we are composed of stay-at-home moms, nurses, teachers, students, administrative assistants and everything in-between. We accept people from all walks of life & strive to support self-confidence, strength & empowerment in all of our derby sisters both on and off the track. If it weren't for fundraisers and donations, we could not keep our league alive, so we are extremely grateful to everyone willing to participate in this event. We hope everyone has a great race day! Late Registration & Packet Pickup
Packet pickup & late registration will both be the morning of the event. Late registration is $35.00. There will be two separate tables marked & set up under the pavilion at the Longleaf Trace Gateway at Southern Miss. Packet pickup & late registration begins at 6:30 am & will end at 7:45 am. It's important that you get there early, because race will begin promptly at 8:00 am.
