St. Alphonsus’ 6th annual Night of Neon 5k and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk is Friday, October 30th. “Night of Neon” is a fun-filled night for the whole family! The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk starts at 6:00 p.m. and the 5k race follows at 6:30. The race course takes runners through downtown Ocean Spring and along Front Beach. Awards are given to overall winners and top finishers within age groups.
This year we will feature the option of a virtual race, as well! You may run when and wherever you'd like!
During the race, and at the “after party,” there will be entertainment, beer, and thanks to our Dad's Club, burgers! “Night of Neon” is a great evening for everyone to come out in their glow gear or Halloween costume for a night of fun!
To keep in line with state regulations and the safety of all participants masks will be required before and after the race. Once 6 feet of distance is achieved while running or walking masks may be removed. However, after the race face coverings must be in use again. Make sure your child and immediate household members are free from illness before participating in the event (if there is doubt please stay home).
Awards go to the first Overall Male and Female 5k winners and to the top two finishers in each age division of the 5k. Awards also for top two boys and girls in the 1 mile Fun Run, ages 6 and under, 7 to 9, 10 to 12, and 13 and over.
***T-shirts are ONLY available to those who register before 10/9/2020 at noon.***
