You don’t have to wait a whole year to race with us again! Join us each October at our annual 5K Race for Recovery on the Boardwalk (formerly the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission 5K Race and Family Walk) in Ocean Grove, NJ!

Our Mission has three locations in Morristown, Asbury Park, and Paterson, all with the goal to fight alcoholism, drug abuse, hunger and homelessness in New Jersey. Our location in Asbury Park, NJ supports the Jersey Shore community and offers free daily meals, emergency overnight shelter and our Life Change Addiction Recovery Program.  

The annual 5K Race for Recovery on the Boardwalk is held on a Saturday in late October! The 5K Race, 2 Mile Walk and Kids Fun Run enjoy scenic ocean views from the boardwalk through Asbury Park, Ocean Grove and Bradley Beach! Proceeds from the event support the programs of the Market Street Mission. We encourage you to show your support for those who are striving for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and help provide the necessary programs and resources for those in need in the community.
