Race Venue

  1. Where will be the race be held?  The Start/Finish line will be near the subdivision entrance on Clubhouse Ln in the Silver Creek area.
  2. What time does the race start?  The Glow Run 5K Run/Walk will start at 6:30 pm. Sunset is at 6:36 pm on race evening.
  3. What time should I arrive?  Please arrive about 45 minutes to one hour before the race start time to allow time to check in and get your race number.
  4. Where will I park?  Parking is available in the parking lot in front of the former Silver Creek Restaurant and Bar.
  5. Are there any restrictions at the race venue? None at this time.

Race Registration

  1. When does online registration close?  Online registration will remain open up to and through race evening. Please register for the race before you leave home.
  2. Can I register on race day?  Yes! Race day registration will be available for an increased fee over pre-registration fees. 
  3. What do I get for my registration fee? Your registration fee includes your race number, chip timing, and a race t-shirt (if registered by 10/18).
  4. Is there a benefiting charity?  Yes, all proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
  5. Can I get a refund of my registration fee? Sorry. Registration fees are non-refundable.
  6. Should I register my young children? Small children that can't run or walk the 5K need not be registered.  Only registered participants will receive a race number and race t-shirt.

Race Participation

  1. When can I get my race t-shirt and race number?  On race day starting at 5:30 pm at the Start/Finish line which will be near the subdivision entrance on Clubhouse Ln in the Silver Creek area.
  2. Can I view a course map?  Yes. Click here to view the course map.
  3. Is the course totally on hard surfaces?  Yes! The course is on paved streets in the Silver Creek area.
  4. Is the course suitable for strollers?  Yes. Pushing a stroller on this course is possible. Please start in the back of the race pack.
  5. Can I walk the race?  Yes! Walkers are welcome.
  6. Can I bring my dog?  Yes!
  7. Are there other restrictions? None at this time.

Race Timing/Awards/Results

  1. Will the race be timed?  Yes. The race timing will be produced by Bluegrass Timing.
  2. Will awards be presented after the race?  Yes, the following awards will be provided: Small trophies will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female overall winners. Medals will be given top 3 males and top 3 females in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over.
