Description

CPT Jeremiah Sipes died January 1, 2011 while on a 10 mile run. Our friends and family have come together to honor him by running this 9K race, the distance he had left to run that day. The 1 mile family fun run/walk is great for non-runners and families who would like to participate.

Jeremiah was a Montana native who loved playing hockey and fly fishing. He graduated and commissioned from Montana State University in 2004. His last assignment was as squadron Intelligance officer in the 3rd BCT 82nd Airborne Division 5-73 Cavalry Regiment. He was loved by many, and an amazing son, brother, husband, father, uncle, friend, and paratrooper.

A portion of proceeds will benefit Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation who's mission is to provide traumatically injured U.S. servicemen and women from Iraq and Afghanistan with a high quality restorative program, utilizing the therapeutic experience of fly fishing on Montana waters.

9k and 1 mile participants will receive a Race T-shirt.
