Rimrock's Pump-N-Run for Recovery adds a unique twist to the average fun run by measuring both strength and endurance. Athletes will have the option to take 30 seconds off their race time for each successful bench press they perform prior to the race.
There are 12 age/gender divisions. Depending on age, men must bench press 60 to 100 percent of their body weight, and women 40 to 70 percent of weight. See below to view Bench Press Weight Chart. Granite Health and Fitness will oversee the bench press competition.

Check in/Late Registration: 8:00am (Race Day registration adds an additional $5 to the prices below)
Weigh-in and bench press begin at 8:30am with the 5K Run/Walk beginning at 9:30am.
The cost is $27.50 (Pump N Run) or $22.50 (5K Run/Walk Only) and will include a t-shirt for those registered by September 10th.
You must be 18 years or older to compete in the bench press competition. Under17 can register under '5K Run/Walk Only' to still receive a t-shirt and be eligible for runner placement.
As the leading addiction treatment facility in the region, Rimrock is committed to providing support to those in recovery. Through our 5k Pump N Run event we hope to raise money to expand and improve the availability of prevention, treatment, and recovery services for those in need.
Open or download the attachment below to view the Bench Press age/sex Chart determining the amount of weight a participant who chooses the Pump-N-Run option will need to Bench Press.
For each successful Bench Press, 30 seconds will be taken off the participants 5K time (up to a max of 30).
