Just for the Helena of It

Just for the Helena of It is a fall event in Helena, MT put on by the Treasure State Runners, a local non-profit organization. We are four local women, and running partners,  dedicated to supporting our community and sharing our love of running in the Treasure State. The profits from Just for the Helena of It will be donated directly to the Friendship Center. The mission of The Friendship Center is to be a safe haven for those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The Friendship Center seeks to empower our community to flourish in relationships free from violence. All services are free and confidential, and they serve all victims and survivors – including men, women, and children of all ages.

This year's half marathon, 10k, and 5k routes will highlight the beautiful town of Helena, MT and the surrounding area. 5k participants will be treated to a course full of our Montana big sky. The half marathon and 10k routes weave an out-and-back through Helena's most historic and scenic areas. Check out our website and course maps for more details. An after-race event will be held at the finish line. The fall weather in Montana can be unpredictable, so please come prepared to join the festivities in rain, shine, or snow!
