5K loop through Laurel to benefit Step In, a program designed to increase community awareness of suicide prevention and the importance of mental health. Participants can race or walk the course and enjoy a pancake breakfast. The race starts and ends at the Laurel Sports Complex. There will be an informal Kids Run just prior to the start of the 5K. Please join us to increase awareness and come together as a community to show support for mental health and making healthy choices.
Packet Pick up for locals is 4:00-7:00 at the Rock Church (820 W 9th Street Laurel) on Friday, August 14th. There will be limited packet pickup available for those traveling on race day morning from 6:40 - 7:40. Kids' Run at 7:45.
GUARANTEED SHIRT SIZES FOR ALL THOSE REGISTERED BY JULY 26! We order extra shirts and they will be available on a "first come first serve" basis at packet pickup for everyone who registers after July 26th. You will be asked for your shirt size even if you register after 7/26, but we can't guarantee you will get one or the size you indicate. Sign up early if you want a guaranteed shirt - and you do because they are SUPER cool!! If there are extras after race participants get shirts, they will be for sale at the race! For those in town: Packet Pickup will be Friday, August 14th from 4-8pm at The Rock Church (820 W 9th St in Laurel) . Feel free to have someone else pick up your packet if you cannot make it during those times! Day of race packet pickup is reserved for out of town participants. Please make every effort to pick up on Friday to avoid overwhelming our day-of volunteers.
Out of Town Participants: You may pick up your packets the morning of the race, from 6:45-7:45.
