WEDNESDAY - FEBRUARY 14th, Lubrecht - Event - 38689 MT-200, Greenough, MT 59823
First off, what is a Skiathlon???
It's a historic event in nordic skiing that combines classic and skate skiing in one event. You switch skis half way through. You start with a mass start classic race and then switch skis to skate. Skiers keep their skate skis in a coral next to the start line.
Classic first, Skate second.
RULES:
- You must switch skis. It can be any ski, but you have to switch
- Classic then skate
SCHEDULE:
4:45pm - Timing Chip Pick Up Opens (Lubrecht)
5:30pm - 1km skate or classic GRIST Race.
6:30pm - 7km Race (3.5km classic, 3.5km skate)

- Night time racing on Valentines Day.
- All racers get a heart candy box.

Start and Finish is in front of the Lubrecht Rec Center building. Along with race check in and gathering.

Welcome to the Montana Nordic Cup - Montana's premier nordic skiing league for competitors of all abilities!
Everyone who participates in a Montana Nordic Cup race is automatically entered into the series and accumulates points at every race.
Just go race, have fun, and check back here for updated points after every race!
Age groups: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U20, Open Male, Open Female, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
RULES:
- Racer's age calculation date is December 31st of the current ski season.
- If you do 2 or more races per event, they both score.
- Longest race of the day (per event) will score 25, 24, 23, 22.......
- The second longest race of the day (per event) will score 20, 19, 18, 17.......
- The third longest race of the day (per event) will score 18, 19, 17, 16......
- The fourth longest race of the day (per event) will score 17, 16, 15, 14....
- The fifth longest race of the day (per event) will score 16, 15, 14, 13......
- Points tie breaker is whoever placed better in the most recent Cup event.
- Leaders must ski in golden bib at events
