Join the Runner's Edge and Sapphire Physical Therapy for a 4 part course where you'll learn all about what it takes to protect your bones, strengthen & engage your glutes, and work on your balance.
Bones, Butts & Balance will meet weekly for the month of March beginning Tuesday, March 3rd at 6pm at Runners Edge. This first session will be an hour with an informal talk from the PTs at Sapphire Physical Therapy. Light refreshments will be served.
The next three meetings will be on Thursday evenings, March 12th, 19th, and 26th at 5:30pm STARTING at Runners Edge. We will run, walk or crawl to Sapphire Physical Therapy. These sessions will take us through various ways to strengthen our bones and glutes and enhance our balance all while under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. The goal is to have a better understanding of why this is so important to an athlete in hopes of preventing future injuries.
This is a can't-miss opportunity and is limited to the first 20 people who register. Cost is $40 and includes a resistance band and 3 supervised workouts with Sapphire PTs in a fun and relaxed group setting.
