GRM Summer Camp 2024

🌟 Join the Adventure: GRM Summer Camp for Identifying Girls & Non-Binary Youth! 🌺

Get ready for a week filled with empowerment, fitness, and fun at the Go Run Missoula (GRM) Summer Camp! Designed for incoming 3rd-6th grade identifying girls and non-binary youth, this week-long experience offers a dynamic blend of leadership workshops, strength training, running adventures, and community engagement.

Camp Details:

📅 When: June 24 - June 28, Monday to Friday

🕘 Time: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

📍 Locations: Various spots around beautiful Missoula

Activities Include:

1. Leadership Workshops: Engage in interactive sessions to nurture leadership qualities and teamwork skills.

2. Strength Training: Lift weights, participate in strength training exercises, and boost your physical prowess.

3. Running Adventures: Explore Missoula's scenic spots as we train for the Tony Banovich 5k during the Missoula Marathon weekend.

4. Flower Arranging with Bitterroot Flower Shop: Craft beautiful flower arrangements to deliver to local businesses, spreading joy and creativity.

5. Running Form and Safety Lessons: Learn the essentials of proper running form and safety for a well-rounded fitness experience.

6. Healthy Snack Toolkit: Develop a toolkit of nutritious snacks for sustained energy and well-being.

7. Running Journal Creation: Set and accomplish goals while creating a personal running journal to capture your achievements.

Special Events:

• Tony Banovich 5k: Participate in the exhilarating 5k event at the end of the week during the Missoula Marathon weekend.

• Missoula Marathon Support: Contribute to the GRM aid station at the Missoula Marathon on Sunday, June 30, and experience the vibrant running community.

Each participant will receive a GRM backpack, 5k shirt, and Marathon shirt.
