Thanks for reaching out about the Missoula XC. For this year, we have decided to cancel the race, and will be putting messaging out this week regarding that. We will likely make an effort to continue offering some local racing, but will setting schedules for that as a function of the Covid protocols. While we are obviously disappointed in how this season is developing, we are using this opportunity to take stock in what is great about the Missoula XC, what should be improved, and what we can leave behind. We're psyched to be back in 2021 with an event that is better than ever.

We heard once that idle hands to the Devil’s work. Well that makes sense, because I don’t remember having much to do back in the summer of aught-ten, and we’ve heard more than a few people describe the climbing on this course as “pure evil.” The 5 km trail was purpose built for UCI sanctioned, World Cup style cross country mountain bike racing, and we like to think of it as a little bit of a throwback to when mountain bike racing was mountain bike racing. We’ve got steep climbs, flowing bermed corners, and even the chance to hang it out a little bit on a gap jump for those so inclined.
New for 2020, we have made much more room in the schedule for junior racers aged 9-18.
