2017 Spawning Run - It’s Go Time, Suckers!
The American Fisheries Society (AFS) is coming to Missoula, and would like to thank Run Wild Missoula for hosting online registration for the 2017 Spawning Run! (Note - this is Not a Run Wild Missoula event and will not count towards Races For A Goodie.) But you should still come for fish-themed fun!
About the event: The Montana Chapter of AFS will host the 2017 Western Division AFS Meeting in Missoula from May 22-25th. AFS is the largest and oldest professional society of fish biologists in the world. Fishery professionals from throughout the Western United States will be here. The 5k Spawning Run is a tradition at every regional and national meeting.
Participation is open to the public, including members of AFS, RWM and anyone who else who enjoys a weekday morning 5k. We encourage runners and walkers of all abilities and speeds, there is no time limit on the course.
Date - Wednesday, May 24th
Location - UM River Bowl (near intersection of Milwaukee Trail and Van Buren Footbridge)
Entry Fee - $19 ($2 discount for RWM members)
Registration - Online through 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 21st. In person on race day from 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM.
Packet Pick Up - At Conference Trade Show (Conference Attendees Only); or, on race day from 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM (All Participants) at the start area (Um River Bowl).
Start Time - 7:00 AM
Schwag - Short Sleeve Technical Tee Shirt for all participants
