Women's Cyclocross Clinic

Cyclocross: it's like mountain biking and Crit racing, with a little more flair, and a lot more hand ups. Have you been interested in cyclocross, but haven't felt comfortable jumping into the mix? Have you tried CX and want to hone your skills? Didn't know what cyclocross is until right now, and thought, 'that sounds crazy enough to be fun'? This is your clinic. Cross bike or mountain bike, come out to Big Sky Park to learn and work on different cyclocross skills, and put all you learned together at the end for a party "race" -- untimed, unscored race to try out your newly learned skills and see what a cyclocross race is like!

The first half of the event will be learning new skills-- cornering, dismount/remount, how to navigate barriers and run-ups, how to grab a hand-up without spilling it all over yourself. (Ok, maybe not that last part.) 

The second half of the event we'll put your newly honed skills to the test and try out some practice laps on a course similar to what you'd see at a CX event. It won't be timed, so take it as seriously, or as casually as you'd like.
