Description

This is a 5k race (often more) with multiple obstacles and mud pits including water slides, kayaking, archery, rope swings, mud pits, water pits, wood walls, wood ramps, monkey bars, very short swims, and running.  The race takes place on a rodeo/fairgrounds, and much of the on-site structures are used in the race---the arena (over a foot deep in mud for the race), the chutes, alleyways, stadium steps, barn, etc.  The location borders a lake, and the lake is used for the kayaking, swimming, etc. portions of the race.  Visitors from both the east coast and west coast visiting Montana have said this was the highlight of their vacation here.  Racers who have also competed in the Spartan, Tough Mudder, and Dirty Dash race series have said this race is as fun, and at times more challenging than those races.  We draw a much smaller crowd, and the race is all about fun.  One hundred percent of your registration fee goes to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Flathead Reservation and Lake County. Check out the video below for some highlights from last year's run!
