Are there any registration discounts?
For groups registering at least 15 participants at one time please contact marketing@racedayeventsllc.com for a discount code.

When & where do runners and walkers pick up their race packets?
Early Packet Pick Up: Wednesday, October 30th at the Madison College Health Building (1705 Hoffman Street, Madison, WI) from 3-6 p.m.
Race Day Packet Pick Up: 8:30-9:30am at Warner Park

Can I register on Race Day?s
Yes! Registration fees are as follows: 5K - $30.00 - 5K, $15.00 - Kids Race
Race Day registration does not guarantee a shirt.

Where should I park?
You can park anywhere in the large parking lot.

How is the event timed?
This event is chip timed. Chips are embedded in your bib. Your bib must be worn during the entire race. No bib = no chip = no time.

Are their medical professionals on-site?
Yes, UW Health Sports Medicine personnel will be located at the finish line.

What awards are given?
Custom designed Turkey Trot medals are awarded to the top three individuals in each division.  An additional award is given to the top male and female finisher in the 5K. The age divisions for the are as follows: 12 & U | 13-18 | 19-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70+.  There are no divisions for walkers.  

Are their restrooms or locker rooms available?
Restrooms are available on-site. Locker and shower facilities are available at Madison College (1701 Wright Street, Madison, WI) from 8:30 AM-1:30 PM, if needed.

Are spikes allowed for the race?
Spikes are NOT ALLOWED for the race.

Are strollers and/or dogs allowed on the course?
Sorry, but strollers and dogs are NOT ALLOWED on the course.

If I pre-registered with a t-shirt and do not show up at the race can I still get my stocking cap?
Sorry, pre-registered participants must pick up their stocking caps on race day. We will not mail out stocking caps.

Are refunds given if I choose not to participate?
No refunds are given once the registration has been processed.

What if it is raining the morning of the race?
The race will go on unless there is thunder or lightning.

Where are the proceeds from the race donated?
All proceeds benefit Thursday's Child and the Madison College Foundation. Thursday's Child makes dreams come true for terminally ill children at no cost. The Madison College Foundation provides educational assistance to students. Both serve Dane County and the surrounding areas.
